Ingredients
Medium size potatoes
3 pieces
Sauerkraut
150 g
Breadcrumbs
30 g + for rolling
Ground black pepper
⅓ teaspoon
Sweet paprika
⅓ teaspoon
Vegetable oil
500 ml
Preparation

Boil the potatoes for 15–20 minutes in lightly salted water. Drain the liquid.

Cool the potatoes slightly and mash them with a potato masher.

Squeeze the cabbage to remove excess moisture. Chop with a knife if it is chopped too coarsely.

Mix potatoes, cabbage, lightly beaten egg, 30 g breadcrumbs, salt, pepper and paprika. Form into balls.

Place the crackers on a flat plate. Roll the vegetable balls one at a time to coat evenly with breading.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan or saucepan over medium heat. Place the balls in one layer and fry until golden brown.
The workpieces must be completely immersed in oil. You can use a deep fryer.

Place the finished snack on paper towels to remove excess fat.
