News inside jeuxvideo.com A player becomes Psycho Mantis in real life – LaPetitPelle Dessine jeuxvideo.com N°519
Between Larian’s statements, a leak from Microsoft and a technological revolution, the news is on fire. LPP takes out its pencil!
The video game sphere is turbulent. Whether it’s the new endings announced for Baldur’s Gate 3, the leaks of a potential new Xbox and the first gaming experience under Neuralink, the video game will be talked about during this Easter weekend. So much information which obviously did not escape LaPetitePelle.
The end or almost the end of Baldur’s Gate 3
If no DLC is planned for Baldur’s Gate 3, Swen Vincke announced, in an interview with IGN, to continue working on the title and in particular on the addition of new evil endings. Incorporating a Dark Urge background which adds a much darker story, these new conclusions are intended for players looking for a ominous outcome.
In addition to these new endings, the studio is still working on cross-platform mod support for the community. While there will still be updates, no other new content is planned for the game, aside from patches.
Leak at Microsoft
Of the Images of a potential new Xbox have just leaked onto the Internet. If a leak general at Microsoft, last year, had made public the company’s roadmap concerning its new consoles in preparation, the images which have just appeared contradict what we had learned. The photos show a console very similar to the Series neglected from her record player, in an immaculate white hull. During the last leak, Microsoft announced that these were old plans and that things had changed a lot since then. As saying that these new photos should therefore be taken with a grain of salt.
Telekinesis
Neuralink is a device imagined by Elon Musk and his teams, aimed at transforming brain waves into digital information using an implant. A true promise of improved living conditions for people with reduced mobility, Noland, a 29-year-old quadriplegic patient, was able to play his favorite games again.
If he had first impressed the scientific world by playing thought chess a week ago, Noland can now spend the night playing Civilzation 6 or take on his family in Mario Kart. “I couldn’t believe that I came second (…) only a week after I started using it, it was crazy” he enthused. The brain chip is far from having revealed all its secrets and we can bet that this is the first step towards more inclusiveness and autonomy for people with disabilities.
