A simple side dish of rice with carrots, peppers, peas and spicy sauce.

Ingredients
Water
1 l + for soaking
Carrot
1 piece
bell pepper
1 piece
Onion
1 piece
Green onions
½ bunch
Garlic
1 clove
Vegetable oil
2 tbsp. spoons
Chilli
2 pieces
Frozen green peas
200 g
Szechuan sauce
1½ tbsp. spoons
Rice vinegar
¼ teaspoon
Sugar
¼ teaspoon
Preparation

Soak the rice in cold water for 15 minutes. Drain and rinse.

Boil water in a saucepan. Add some salt. Stir in rice and cook over medium heat for 8 minutes. Place on a sieve and cool.

Cut the carrots and bell peppers into small pieces. Chop the onions and green onions. Chop the garlic.

Heat oil in a frying pan. Heat garlic and chiles for 1 minute. Add onions, carrots, bell peppers and peas. Keep on fire for 2-3 minutes.

Stir in Szechuan sauce, rice vinegar, sugar and salt. Add rice and heat through. Sprinkle with green onions.
