A seasoning with a well-balanced flavor will make a simple seafood dish special. It’s very easy to make it at home.

Ingredients
Peeled large shrimp
450–500 g
Salt
½ teaspoon
Soda
¼ teaspoon
Sweet paprika
1 tbsp. spoon
Dried ground garlic
1 tbsp. spoon
Dried ground onion
1 teaspoon
Ground black pepper
½ teaspoon
Ground white pepper
½ teaspoon
Ground cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons
Ground thyme
1 teaspoon
Ground cumin
¼ teaspoon
Ground oregano
1 teaspoon
Sugar
1 teaspoon
Butter
2 tbsp. spoons
Vegetable oil
2 tbsp. spoons
Preparation

Rinse the shrimp under running water and dry with paper towels. Sprinkle with baking soda and salt. Cover with a lid or film and put in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Stir in paprika, garlic, onion, peppers, thyme, cumin, oregano and sugar.

Separate one and a half tablespoons of the resulting seasoning. Pour the rest into a jar and close the lid tightly to use for other dishes.

Remove the shrimp from the refrigerator. Sprinkle with seasoning and toss to evenly coat.

Heat butter and vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the shrimp in one layer and fry for a minute and a half on each side.
