Sugar
200 g + 180 g
Red or regular oranges
2 pieces
Butter
180 g + for greasing
Baking powder
2 teaspoons
Fresh rosemary

Combine 200 g of sugar and water in a frying pan. Heat until the sand dissolves.

Cut the oranges into thin slices and remove the seeds. Place in syrup. Once boiling, cook over low heat for about 15 minutes.

Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease the baking dish with oil. Cover the bottom with parchment.

Using a fork, carefully transfer the oranges into the pan and spread them across the bottom. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of syrup.

Beat softened butter and 180 g of sugar with a mixer into a fluffy mass. Add eggs one at a time, mixing the dough thoroughly after each one.

Using a spatula, stir in the flour, baking powder and rosemary leaves. Pour in the milk.

Pour the batter into the mold over the oranges and smooth out. Bake the pie for about 40 minutes.
Check readiness with a toothpick: it should remain clean.

Leave the cake in the pan for 5 minutes. Then invert onto a plate and carefully remove the paper. Add 1-2 more tablespoons of syrup.
