An impressive landslide took place on Sunday March 31 in Andorra la Vella, near the center. The events took place early in the evening, reports France 3 Occitanie. 180 tons of rock broke away from the wall and rolled down the mountain before ending their journey along the Bonavista Canal, just a few meters from homes.

The rock, weighing 180 tonnes and measuring 100 cubic meters, left large debris after its passage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported nor any significant material damage. According to France 3 Occitanie, several walls and gardens in the upper area were destroyed. Traffic had to be stopped in the surrounding streets and several parking lots closed to the public while the area was cleared.
