Ingredients

Wheat flour

50 g + for deboning

Corn flour

50 g

Oat milk

100 ml

Sugar

1 tbsp. spoon

Baking powder

¹⁄₂ sachet

Vegetable oil

400–500 ml

Vegan sausages

10 pieces

Preparation

  1. 1.

    Beat flour with milk, sugar, salt and baking powder in a blender.

    The batter should be quite thick. If it is liquid, add more flour.

    Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat.

  3. 3․

    Cut the sausages in half. Thread each piece onto a long wooden skewer.

  4. 4.

    Pour the flour into a plate and roll the sausages in it so that the batter sticks to them better.

  5. 5.

    Dip the sausage into the batter, swirl slightly and let the excess drip off. Dip into hot oil and fry until golden brown.

  6. 6․

    Fry all the sausages in batches of several pieces. Place cooked corn dogs on a paper towel to remove excess fat.
