A story that could have ended very badly.
A story that ends well. But this unusual information came close to filling the news column.
This Saturday, a single-engine plane (a Cessna C206) took off from the runway at Butler Memorial Airport near Kansas City (United States).
On board, a pilot and 6 other people ready to have a good time.
In the hangar, quiet
Except that the theft turns into a nightmare. Indeed, the plane suffered damage and the crash was inevitable. The pilot, the only one with a parachute, grabs it and manages to jump in time. The other 6 people are destined for a disastrous fate. The plane then crashes in a hay field, tells KCTV5.
But when they arrive on the scene, the county sheriff and his team make a pleasant discovery. All 6 passengers are alive. Slightly injured, but alive. They are then transported to the nearest hospital.
The pilot was found in an airport hangar. Obviously safe and sound.
