A magnitude 6.3 earthquake occurred off the coast of Japan this Wednesday, April 17, 2024, reportFrance Media Agency And Reuters. According to the United States Geological Survey (United States Geological SurveyUSGS), the earthquake occurred off the coast of the town of Uwajima, between the Shikoku and Kyūshū islands, in the southwest of the archipelago.

For the moment, no damage has been reported, underlines theAFP. The tsunami warning was also not triggered.
